The ordinary people of the Third Estate.
According to Christian theology, the Lord cast the angels that sinned into darkness and bound them in chains until the judgment day. This punishment is often associated with the fallen angel Lucifer or Satan and his followers who rebelled against God.
The Bible mentions in Revelation 12:4 that a third of the angels were cast out of heaven with Satan when he rebelled against God. This event is also referred to in other passages, such as Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:12-17, which describe the fall of Lucifer, who became Satan.
The Apocalyptic Book of Jubilees specified that nine tenths of the angels fell while one tenth remained sinless and loyal to God. That so many angels would be disloyal raised concerns among medieval writers, who reversed the proportions. So, now only a tenth off the angels went with Satan.
The Bible does not directly say that angels have the will to choose for themselves, but without free will, how could Lucifer and a third of the angels rebel against God and heaven
According to Christian tradition, the angels who fell with Lucifer when he was cast out of heaven are often referred to as demons or fallen angels. The exact number or names of these angels are not specified in the Bible, but it is generally believed that a third of the angels in heaven followed Lucifer in his rebellion against God.
