Both have a betrothal at the beginning, then marriage, then honeymoon, then children, then discords. Are they not similar? :)
But then, there are differences. Most of the time marriages among hindus would be arranged by the family (of course, the bride and the groom express their wishes and that can change the family decision). A Hindu marriage is not just for the bride and groom, but it is a coming together of two 'extended' families. It is expected to last a life-time, divorce rate here is as low as 1%.
weddings are not similar but the lifestyle is not different

Hindu parents ususlly arrange their childrens weddings.
Catholic weddings typically have organ music, and it is scarce. Christian weddings, depending on the church, could have lots of gospel music. Christian weddings don't follow a strict procedure, like catholic weddings. Anything goes - music, prayer, etc.
A Christian wedding is more lavish than a Buddhist wedding which is more hu,ble than a Christian wedding and they have lots of fun when being married :)
Hindu weddings take place generally at an open space under a decorated canopy called mandap.

Presumably, you are asking about church, rather than civil weddings. I often see Christians and atheists marry in a church service, and it is common practice nowadays for many priests or pastors simply not to ask the faith of the other party. In the same way, it should be easy to find a church that is willing to marry a Christian and a Hindu.
