Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be born to the Virgin Mary for one main reason and that was to die for the sins of mankind.

The Passion of Christ is when Jesus suffered and died on the cross of Calvary. This is when He paid for all sin. After death He was buried in a tomb, but then after three days God the Father raised Him from the dead (Resurrection).

A dead Savior does no one any good. Jesus had to be resurrected and return to heaven. The Bible tells us of a time when Jesus will return to earth again and He could not do this if He was still dead and in the grave.

Some persons believe that the time for Jesus to come again is soon.

When he comes back all persons who have accepted Jesus as Savior will be resurrected from the grave just as Jesus was and will return to heaven with Him.

Other persons who are alive will also receive new bodies fit for heaven and eternity and will go to heaven also.

All persons who have not accepted Jesus as Savior will be judged and sent to the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-15).

To accept Jesus as your personal Savior you have to believe on Him with the heart (See Romans 10:8-13).
