A true Sikh(Khalsa) is recognized by five important religious features.

1. Kesh (forbidden to clip hair /trim beard and moustache)

2. Kripan - a dagger is always kept

3 .Kara- a steel or iron bangle.

4. Kuch- clean underlinen is worn each day.

5. Kanga-comb.

Normally a Sikh speaks Punjabi, wears a turban & recites the Gurbani(teachings of their Guru).

They have rich chivalrous religious cultural traditions.
