Satan "fathered"... sired... originated anger, jealousy and murder, lust, disrespect for authority and God... and bearing false witness. These are God's laws of conduct, the breaking of which is "sin" and punishable by death. He "fathered" sin and did it first.
And it was he who introduced it to the first parents. They fell for his sales pitch... and made wrong choices. They chose to obey the Devil above God. They lusted after what was not theirs. They believed him when he told them that they were "immortal souls":
"...Ye shall not surely die..." (Gen.3:4).
