Grace is appropriated by faith in what God has done in Christ on the cross, setting us free from the bondage of sin, bringing salvation and eternal life. In Jesus Christ, God's grace is open to all people.
He died on the Cross for our sins.
Jesus tells us that, freedom from sin and grace are offered to those who repent and accept their sins.
All the grace of God comes to us through our Lord Jesus Christ. Mary has no power to give us grace, as she has none of her own; though i expect our Roman Catholic brethren would defer with me on that.
Our Blessed Lord gives us grace to help us follow the beatitudes. We receive this grace through primarily through the sacraments and prayer.
Jesus Christ the Son of God
The bible tells us that nobody is worthy, we are all sinners, but through grace we are saved.
We share in the same kingdom, Faith, and Trust. Just like Jesus overcame the world, He also gave us the grace to overcome as well.
Actually, grace is not a concept. Grace is a person and that person is Jesus. The reason that grace and Jesus cannot be separated is because Jesus is full of grace and truth. Grace is God giving us a gift - His Son - who walked in perfect love and was put to death on a cross to take away the sins of the entire world, past present and future. He did this because of His great love for us. He would rather offer Himself as a perfect, spotless sacrifice than to see us live without Him. He rose from the dead so that we, too, could become spiritually alive. The reason He did that is because we are all born into this world dead spiritually. We are without the life of God living us. It isn't until we come to understand that Jesus died and took the punishment for sin (which was death) and rose again to give us life that we have the opportunity to receive what God has given us - Jesus. All you have to do is believe that God did this for you and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior and life.
Does Sanctified grace give the right to heaven?Grace is a blessing from God and it is this grace of his that we are given a plan to save us. We have no right to heaven, because we are all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God. It is through his pure grace that he has given us salvation through his Son and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Yes Jesus said you are saved by grace and not by great deeds.
Yes! Jesus died for every single sin imaginable! Isn't it wonderful?! That's called mercy, grace and pure love! Jesus loves us unconditionally!
Jesus would win.
