10 of the disciples were killed for their lifestyle (preaching and living in self-supporting communities outside the roman kingdom). the most famous of these deaths is that of Simon peter. he was to be crucified, but refused to die the same way as christ, as to not be considered equal, so his executioners instead crucified him upside down. his wife was killed directly after him.

of the last two disciples, Judas iscariot committed suicide after making shady deals that lead to christ's death. and the last disciple, john, who was likely the youngest of them, was thrown into a boiling pot and scalded, but somehow survived, and was instead held in exile on the island of crete until he was really old, around 70 or so. he continued to write back and forth with the church as long as his body could.
