We could probably get a pretty good idea of how the apostles reacted towards women by considering how their Master Jesus treated women; especially as contrasted with how women in general were treated in ancient history among some peoples. No doubt the apostles learned from their Master. After all they were his disciples.
But Jesus treated women with dignity and respect.
They were even assigned to tell the men (the apostles). Initially the men reacted: "These sayings appeared as nonsense to them and they would not believe the women." (Luke 24:11)
The apostle Peter observed firsthand the way Jesus dealt with women.
This is what I found. Hope it's helpful.

The news of the resurrection was brought to the apostles by women who were followers of Jesus, specifically Mary Magdalene, along with other women like Joanna and Mary the mother of James. According to the Gospels, they visited the tomb on the morning of the resurrection and encountered angels who informed them that Jesus had risen. They then went to tell the apostles about the miraculous event.
Yell, scream, cry, slap ..... COMPLAIN Obviously, the above answer was either by an insecure male or a sexist. You also need to be more precise regarding your question. It is too vague. How do what women (the women) react to what? What women are you inquiring about and what situation are you inquiring about?
No, a lot of other religions say it too
