Read in The Bible the book of Luke, Chapter 2 verse 12. The babe would be wrapped in swaddling cloths ( wrapped in cloth ) from the Greek word (sparganoo) and lying in a manger ( a crib or stall ) from the Greek word (phatne). These two things would identify the baby as being Jesus Christ the Messiah and the Son of God, King of Kings. Hope this helps.
The angels told them.
sheperds were first
The bible does not mention the number of sheperds that went to see christ .
The Sheperds of the fields were there.
They fell to thier knees and worshiped Him.
i think the names are Caspar, Balthazar and, erm.
The shepherds brought their curiosity and their presence. What they took away with them was verification and affirmation.
They were Joseph and the sheperds abnd finaly the three wise men who saw Jesus first.
There is no difference between Baby Jesus and Jesus Christ. Jesus is called Baby Jesus because He was born into this world like all of us, as a baby.
The shepherds learned of Jesus' birth through an angel who appeared to them while they were out in the fields watching over their flock during the night. The angel told them the good news of the birth of the Savior and directed them to find the baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger in Bethlehem.
Matthew's Gospel tells us that the magi found the baby Jesus in a house in Bethlehem.
The Bible description of the birth of Jesus, in the Gospel according to Saint Luke, does not indicate what time of year it was.
