How did the world come in to existence?

There are many different views on this topic. I believe that it was created by God. Science is based on principles and mathematical understandings. The odds of everything being created by chance is astronomical (wow that sounded like my teacher).

I think that life came into existence do to the fact of creation, too. According to scientists, the early Earth's atmosphere contained no free oxygen. They say that the first life forms would have been killed by oxygen. So how did the earth's atmosphere get from no oxygen to oxygen without all of us dying???

This is why I believe in creation.

Firstly, the atmosphere got oxygen without us dying because evolution played it's part:

1. A few organism could tolerate slightly higher levels of oxygen.
2. The oxygen level rises slightly.
3. The organisms that couldn't tolerate the rises of oxygen died out.
4. The small numbers of organisms that could tolerate the change reproduce.
5. A few organisms could stand even higher levels of oxygen.
6. The oxygen level rises slightly.
7. The organisms that couldn't tolerate the rises of oxygen died out.
8. The small numbers of organisms that could tolerate the change reproduce.
9. A few organisms could stand even higher levels of oxygen.
10. The oxygen level rises slightly.
11. The organisms that couldn't tolerate the rises of oxygen died out.
12. The small numbers of organisms that could tolerate the change reproduce.
13. The process continues until we have the atmosphere we have today.

Secondly the universe has billions of billions of billions of stars and a huge amount of time for coincidences to happen. At any place or time it could happen so there is a large chance of this happening when you add all the small chance together.

Well I believe it is because many profits or messengers of God have been sent to teach us about every 1000 years. This `idea`is different for various people, but these are only my personal beliefs from my region.

Nobody knows but as long as there have been civilisations people have tried to pass off responsibility, for good and bad things happening, onto something that can't answer back. 'Nature' and 'the gods' came in this category until someone thought he would be more powerful and influential if he said he got messages from God. Some people believed him. So religion was born.

I am not a great christian i must say. but what i do know is that God himself did not come to us but he sent his son Jesus christ to rid us of our sins. Jesus was born in a place for animals. his mother was Mary, (she is not holy like the catholics say) but she was his mother. (im not sure if this is what you asked for) But also in a way jesus is god, jesus is not a god but is Part of the god, he is not human but was part human. he is the gate way for us from earth to heaven. not to sound so religious but that is what i know. i hope it helped.

Why God created the universe is harder to explain than how. In the infinite timelessness of space, he might have been either bored or lonely, but who knows why? There are two creation stories in Genesis (verses 1:1-2:4a and 2:4b-25), from which we might be able to establish how.

The first creation story starts with God creating the earth, although experts in the Hebrew language believe it really says that the earth was pre-existent and presumably uncreated. At this stage, earth was a cold and lonely place drifting aimlessly through space at a temperature of absolute zero. God created the light of day so that days could be distinguished from nights, but not yet the sun and moon. In quick succession, he created a firmament to separate the waters above from those below, gathered the lower waters so that there was dry land, then created grasses, plants and trees. Plants need sun for warmth, so God created the sun, moon and stars and placed them in the firmament just above the earth, where they could rule the day and the night. He then created fish, land animals and, finally, humans (both male and female together). All these things God just spoke into existence, in just six days.

The second creation story is much older in Judaism and reflects a more primitive understanding of creation. The story starts with the earth already in existence and plants already there, waiting for it to rain. God's powers are more limited than in the first story, and he can not make living things out of nothing. First he creates a man (Adam) out of moist earth, then each of the animals in the same way, one by one, allowing Adam to name them as they are created. Finally, God creates a woman (Eve).

If God created the universe that scientists know, then the process is much different, much older and much slower. We know that the stars and the sun had to exist before the earth did. We know that day and night can not exist without the sun and moon, and that plants could not survive without the sun nor could many of them pollinate without birds or bees. We know there was a long evolutionary process, as new species of plants and animals gradually replaced earlier ones. Science does not say that God could not have guided this process, just that he was not needed.

Why: Why do humans respond emotionally to beautiful sights? And why are painters, sculptors, or musicians motivated emotionally (even beyond monetary need) - to create works of beauty? We are created in the image of God (Genesis ch.5), and God himself is a master artist, who (we intuit) enjoys beauty and has made this beautiful world (see Genesis 1:31). The best human efforts to create beauty are a pale reflection of God's own designs. We respond to them because we are made in the Creator's image.
God made the Earth for people: "He did not create [the earth] simply for nothing," but "formed it to be inhabited" (Isaiah 45:18). He wanted them to exist in order to have someone to love. When the righteous use their free-will to obey God despite His being hidden, they have shown that they deserve His love. Their reward will never cease. But even the undeserving are given the kindness of life in this world, and the lifelong ability to repent.

How:

The Torah (Genesis ch.1) lists many of the things that God created in the universe, especially this Earth and all that is on it, but the account deliberately leaves out most the finer details, whatever they were. For example, "and the Earth brought forth living things" at God's command; but the process by which God formed and assembled the molecules and proteins is not stated because it is of only minor significance. One who believes in God can imagine the process; and one who doesn't, will in any case remain unconvinced.

THose who believe in the existence of God will usually say that God has always existed, eternally. This raises some philosophical problems that early theologians attempted to solve by saying that God is outside time and is therefore not constrained by the beginning of time - God "just is".

Another view is that the ancients needed a higher power, which we call God, in order to explain how the world came into existence and why we are here. On this view, God exists because people created him - not as a sudden, obviously transparent exercise of self-deception, but as an evolution of belief.

It is a fallacy of logic to appeal to the "everything must have a beginning or a creator" argument in trying to explain the existence of God. Everything created needed a creator, but God is not in that category.He is greater than the universe, not limited by it or its limits, and is outside the bounds of time or causality.
Rather, you can show God's existence by pointing to the bottomless, infinite wisdom which we see in the Creation.
