Yes, to get to God you must go through Jesus and accept Him into your heart because God can't be in the presence of sin and since everyone has sinned Jesus is the only way to forgive those sins and to get to God and living forever! Yes. John 14:6, 7 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." This doctrine is prominent throughout the New Testament. In his first epistle, the Apostle John summarizes why one can come to God only through Christ: 1 John 2:1, 2 - My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.Answer Yes this is true, but it is not such a simple statement as it seems. Jesus claimed to be God and Christians accept Jesus as divine - fully human, with all human traits, emotions and so on, and yet fully God also. If Christians accept this, then the statement that 'no one comes to the Father except by me' is rather strange - one could read it as 'no one comes to God except by God'. What was it that Jesus actually meant? The answer seems to lie in Christ's teaching. He taught that God loves us, and that he wants to have a relationship with us if we turn to him. Jesus taught that there are two great commandments on which everything else is based: that we should love God with all our hearts. souls minds and strength, and we should love our neighbours as we love ourselves. It is this which Jesus insists we do. We must love God (and in that process love Jesus as he is divine humanity), and we must love our neighbours with a selfless, unconditional love. Without that, we cannot enter into a relationship with a God that is pure love. Sometime my heart sinks when I read of those who, because they believe that their branch of Christianity (or any other belief) is the 'only way' because they either follow The Bible to the letter, or perform certain rituals 'properly' (whatever that means) or they speak in tongues, heal or prophesy whereas others may not. Some Catholics pour scorn on protestants because they do not recognise Christ's 'real presence in the mass' or believe in purgatory. Some Evangelicals look down on Catholics because they do not accept all of the Bible as the unerrant Word of God. Some 'Christians' show contempt for those of other faiths or no faith at all because they do not accept Jesus as would a Christian. There have been more arguments and conflicts over the minutiae of religion than any other cause. God must look on us and weep. What IS important is that, despite our differences, we accept God as a God of Love as revealed to us through God incarnate - Jesus - and, because of that love given freely to us, we, in turn, love our neighbours as ourselves. This is the necessity for salvation. For what Jesus, our God-man said, whatever we do to others - we are doing to him. Love is the key, not exclusivity and one-upmanship. Until all Christians, and others, realise that, there will always be conflicts and arguments over whose theology is 'right'.
Through Jesus. Jesus is God incarnate.
If you are Christian, ask them if God always answers your prayers. Why did Jesus die on the cross for us. Because Jesus is God, ask them why you can only get to heaven through Jesus. Isn't Jesus God? But the bible says that you have to get to heaven through Jesus, not God.
Jesus came to know that he was the Son of God through his spiritual experiences and teachings from God.
God did a lot through Jesus before His resurrection. It's all in the Bible
In the Gospels, God is portrayed as speaking through Jesus, who taught and performed miracles to demonstrate God's power and love. Jesus used parables and direct statements to convey God's message of love, forgiveness, and salvation to the people.
Yes, Jesus believed he was the Son of God, as indicated in the Bible through his teachings and actions.
Through God.
Christ Jesus was created by God through the Holy Spirit.
No, The Bible says the only way to get to God is through Jesus Christ, who died for you and me.
Praying in Jesus Christ's name can deepen our connection with God by acknowledging Jesus as our mediator and intercessor. This act of faith demonstrates our belief in Jesus' role in our relationship with God, and can help us align our prayers with God's will. By praying in Jesus' name, we can also experience a sense of closeness and intimacy with God, as we approach Him through the lens of Jesus' teachings and example.
Jesus is the Word of God and life was created through him. Jesus existed before.
Christians pray to Jesus because they believe he is the Son of God and serves as a mediator between them and God. They see Jesus as the way to connect with God and seek his guidance, forgiveness, and blessings through prayer.
