The existence of God (or gods) can neither be proven nor disproven. Therefore, you cannot prove that an atheist is incorrect. Such an action (asserting one's own religious opinion onto another) is considered taboo in modern culture and is generally looked down upon.
The choice to be atheist or theist or any other belief is simply a choice. There is nothing wrong about it.

No. An atheist only says they will not believe because there is no varifiable evidence to support the god claim. This is very different than saying, "there is no god". An usual example of this is: I say I have faith there is a tiny teacup orbiting the rings of saturn...can you prove me wrong? No, but without real evidence, it can be dismissed as impossible.
