I know even while Im typing this that what Im about to say is going to make me sound like Im crazy.Im not. Ive asked other people if they can do this and I get strange looks, laughter, and very mean comments. So much so that Ive promised myself i wouldn't mention it again and I would just keep it a secret.Im breaking that promise now.
A long time ago....when I was around 15 or 16 I was looking in the mirror at myself.Daydreaming kinda.Just staring at myself. Mind wondering.Thinking about my life, familiy, and friends. Nothing unusual really. We've all done it before a million times. But this time, unlike countless times before,i did something a little different. Instead of looking at all of me( face, hair, etc. etc.), I started looking into my own eyes.HARD. I eased closer to the mirror....still staring....almost locked in you might say on nothing but my own eyes.Going from one eye to the next.Back and forth.Staring.....hard.....trying not to even blink.Holding the gaze for a few minutes.......and then it happened.
I knew that what I was looking at was not me.I knew that the physical body,me,that was in the mirror was just that. A body. I panicked at first and lost it. Leaned back and kinda shook it off. I was back to myself looking in the mirror.
And then I thought....maybe I can do that again. So i tried.
It worked.
It takes about (and it varies) 5 to 15 min. You have to get real close to a full mirror.NO noises or outside distractions.Very still, very quiet. Look deep into your own eyes, lock in.One eye to the next. Not your nose, not your mouth or eyebrows..........your eyes.Try not to blink.... much....your eyes will burn a bit Mentally think to yourself.....who am I looking at?
And if it works for you like it still does for me,you'll all of a sudden fell like your looking at another person in the mirror. It will make the hair stand up on your neck.
My ONLY explaination is the separation of my soul from my body. I don't do it often....but I can do it.And yes....I think its strange too.
According to hermetism the human body is made up of three separate parts the body the spirit and the soul where in there relationship of three the soul plays a meditating role or it is the common measure which maintains the relationship between the spirit and the body
No it is impossible to separate body and soul because both body and soul are the same.Just we have to realize it....
The relationship between the spirit, soul, and body can be illustrated in a diagram where the spirit is depicted as the innermost core, the soul as the intermediary layer, and the body as the outermost layer. The spirit is believed to be the eternal essence of a person, the soul is the seat of emotions and intellect, and the body is the physical vessel that houses both the spirit and soul. This diagram visually represents the interconnectedness and hierarchy of these three components within an individual.
is the way howto separate the Soul and body separate.
A spirit is a soul with no characteristic that it's previous body died happy. A ghost is a soul with characteristics that it's previous body died unhappy.
The Human Spirit is that spirit that enters the body of an unborn child just before it is born. It is said that when the child first moves in the womb that is when the spirit enters the child. That same spirit will leave the body at death and return to that home from where first came to await the resurrection, when it will be reunited with that same body. The body and spirit having fulfilled its purpose here on earth. Human spirit is inspired soul. When a child is born, the body is devoid of soul and spirit. However, the child is born with God's gift of ability to think, feel and act. With the Holy Spirit residing in the body, the child begins to fill its own soul and later, its spirit out of the soul.
According to the Bible, humans are made up of three parts: body, soul, and spirit. The body is the physical aspect, the soul is the mind, will, and emotions, and the spirit is the part that connects with God. This relationship can be represented in a diagram with three interconnected circles, each representing one of these parts. The body, soul, and spirit are distinct but interconnected aspects of a person's being.
The concept of the soul is typically understood as a spiritual essence separate from the physical body. Different cultures and religions may have varying beliefs about where the soul is located, with some suggesting it resides within the heart, while others believe it exists throughout the entire body or as a separate entity altogether. Ultimately, the position of the soul is subjective and can vary depending on individual beliefs.
Pneuma is the spirit or soul - in the belief of Gnosticism, it is one of three levels of a human being - specifically the spirit, as opposed to the body or soul.
The body is the physical aspect of a person, the soul is the emotional and mental aspect, and the spirit is the non-physical or metaphysical aspect that connects to a higher power or consciousness.
The belief that the soul and body can't be separated. The opposite, which is the belief that the soul and body are separate, is dualism.
When the body engages in good deeds, it is pleasure for the soul.
