I'm actually writing a report on this very question right now so far what i have is that most of laws are created from the 10 commandments called judo-christian laws, many times Church's give aid to the poor, it makes all seen as equals in the eyes of god giving us no reason to discriminate against one another, it also offers social and economical security by giving people a safe place to worship and a safe place for the needy to turn to. church are also responsible many times for bring food, clothing, schooling and making places self sufficient in deprived areas of the world.
