He doesn't.

He reveals Himself and His Father as "One": as "one family unit":

"I and MY FATHER ARE ONE." (John 10:30) [not; "I, My Father, and the Holy Spirit are one."]

... just like God established the "familial unit" for mankind, created in His image; to reveal to man God's purpose for mankind:

"The (Holy) Spirit itself beareth witness WITH OUR SPIRIT, that WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD..." (Rom.8:16)

Jesus' prayer to His Father for His Children [ultimately, all of saved mankind] is that they, too, one day shall be "ONE" with their Father and His Firstborn Son -- One Holy, Immortal, Divine Family Unit!

"I'm not asking you to take them out of the world, but to KEEP THEM SAFE FROM THE EVIL ONE. They are not part of this world any more than I AM. Make them Pure and Holy by teaching them your Words of Truth. As YOU SENT ME INTO THE WORLD, I AM sending them into the world. And I GIVE MYSELF ENTIRELY TO YOU so THEY ALSO MIGHT BE ENTIRELY YOURS.

"I AM praying not only for these disciples but also FOR ALL WHO WILL EVER BELIEVE IN ME because of their testimony. My prayer FOR ALL OF THEM is THAT THEY WILL BE ONE, JUST AS YOU AND I ARE ONE, FATHER - that JUST AS YOU ARE IN ME and I AM IN YOU, so THEY WILL BE IN US, and the world will believe you sent Me.

"I have given them the Glory you gave Me, so that THEY MAY BE ONE, AS WE ARE - I IN THEM and YOU IN ME, ALL BEING PERFECTED INTO ONE. Then the world will know that you sent Me and will understand that you Love them AS MUCH AS YOU LOVE ME." (John 17:15-23 NLT New Living Translation)

Jesus doesn't reveal God to be a "limited" trinitarian unit [which is of pagan origin; and not taught in The Bible]... He reveals Himself, His Father, and [eventually] all of mankind as ONE DIVINE, IMMORTAL, ALL-POWERFUL FAMILY UNIT!

His Words are there in His prayer to His Father in John's 17th chapter [the REAL LORD's Prayer]. They're there for anyone to read and "believe" if they so choose -- or to reject and miss out on God's Truth, as most of the world has thus far.
