Zacchaeus was a wee little man, and a wee little man was he. He climbed up in the sycamore tree for the Lord he wanted to see. And as the Savior passed that way, He looked up in the the tree and He said, "Zacchaeus, you come down, for I'm going to your house today. For I'm going to your house today."

You may be thinking of Zacchaeus? He was short and couldn't see Jesus well, so he climbed a Fig Mulberry Tree to get a better look. Jesus noticed him, said he was coming to his house next, and Zacchaeus 'left the tree' quickly to prepare for his visit (Luke 19:1-6). Zacchaeus was, however, just curious, and NOT a " follower of Jesus" when he was in the tree. He became one after they met (Luke 19:7-10)
