A:If I look at two people of good character, I can not tell which one is a Christian and has been guided by the Holy Spirit and which one is an atheist. They have achieved good character either with the Holy Spirit or without.

If I look at two people of disreputable character, I can not tell which one is a Christian and could have been guided by the Holy Spirit and which one is an atheist. One has character flaws in spite of the best efforts of the Holy Spirit. The other simply has character flaws.

Whatever people judge my character to be (and I trust them to be charitable in their assessments) I have never been guided by the Holy Spirit.
