There's that word 'celebrate' again. We're not big on the concept of 'celebrating'; so I'll drop the word.
We have weddings.
Before the wedding, the couple confers with the elders who make sure that the couple have kept themselves chaste, (then there is something to really celebrate).
For use of the Kingdom Hall, or for one of the elders to perform the marriage, the couple must be morally chaste.)
Each couple decides on the specifics and proceedures.
The walk down the isle is common.
A short talk is given to them on the platform, regarding the sacredness of marriage, the blessings and responsibilities expected from Jehovah of them.
Then the vows.
A walk out the asle.
Usually a reception. Food, sometimes alcohol, dancing, skits.
(We're not into throwing confetti, or rice; neither dangling of tin cans behind the cars.)
Jehovah's Witnesses enter into business contracts with non-Witnesses.
Jehovah's witnesses must marry before they live together.
Yes, if they are married.
With similar difficulties as non Witnesses
No it is not. The Brooklyn tabernacle is a non-denominational church and Jehovah's Witnesses do not participate in interfaith activities.
We're ok with it. No problems with it.
She has never been associated with Jehovah's Witnesses as of June 2009, to the best of my knowledge. She would not live with a man as with a husband without being married to him and still be considered one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
No they can't. Unless one of the couple is studying with the Jehovah's Witness and is with a spouse while not married. If the person is truly sure of baptizing as a Jehovah's Witness then the only way to do it is by the person getting married to be able to get baptized as a now Jehovah's Witness and not sin in Jehovah God's eyes.
Jehovah's Witnesses have no celebrities. Jehovah's Witnesses do not recognize anyone as celebrities. We consider no one as 'famous'.If non-witnesses consider someone who is one of Jehovah's Witnesses as a celebrity, we would have no knowledge of their views.Perhaps this is where a non-Witness can provide a list of those they consider a celebrity, that also happens to be a Witness. But we could not confirm whether they really are a Witness or not. We keep no such records.
Jehovah's witnesses don't have flag but they have a logo.
It depends on what you mean by "free to worship". Will Jehovah's Witnesses be arrested for praying in Iran? -- No. They can assemble and pray without fear that someone will take them away. Can Jehovah's Witnesses build churches, proselytize, and openly discuss their faith with non-Christian Iranians? -- No. Jehovah's Witnesses can do none of these things in Iran.
yes, Jehovah Witnesses do get baptized
