How is heaven's gate different to a christian church?

Heaven's Gate is different to a Christian church in so much that Christianity very much so goes against their own Bible and quotes Paul more than Jesus. Jesus never meant for his message to be bastardized and exemplified into a billion dollar money making franchise. Many if not all Christian sects go against their own Bible. Some sect adhere to more of their Bible, while others don't even cross first base when it comes to preaching, let alone, following their sacred texts. Heaven's Gate teachings provide the examiner with up to date information, whereas Christianity and other corridors of religions follow age old texts that are out of date to today's technological advancements. They quote texts that are over 2000 years old- hardly conducive with what needs to be known today. Heaven's Gate gives answers to the understandings of what Christians know nothing about because they focus on old documents which were strictly meant for the people of that time and era. Christianity, on the other hand, is like an old country map from 100 years ago to try to use as a means of travel for today. It would be out of date and not conducive to precise travel from a metaphorical perspective.

Christianity, due to their ignorance, misses the mark on a lot of aspects of their own Bible, giving them rise to the power of sorcerers and false prophets who want them to make an abode here on Earth and build on Earth, while teaching a one dimensional concept that there is no life on other planets (as one out of many examples) and that WE are at the the top of species, promoting human man made values, focussing more around Paul who watered down the Jesus message. One need not be a rocket scientist to also know that The Bible has been edited and manipulated by man to cater to man under the guise of a title known as Christianity. One might say "Prove that it was manipulated!". LoL, well, "Prove that it wasn't manipulated." Christianity will never stack up to the teachings and understandings of Heaven's Gate.
