Example of excuse letter of mistake?

In business or in academics, there is no excuse for a mistake. A letter can be written to acknowledge a mistake, to report a mistake, to apologize for a mistake, to correct a mistake. That letter can include reasons that the mistake was made and should include steps that have been taken to ensure the mistake is not repeated. It is unprofessional to make excuses for mistakes.

Does Rig Veda predate Torah?

This is hard to determine since both societies first had an oral history. About 1000 B.C.E. the Rig Veda was written down in Sanskirt. The Torah which is made up of the first five books of the Old Testament was written down by Moses after the Exodus which was about 1300 B.C.E. This would favor the Torah as being the earliest written work.

What happens if a mistake is made in the reading of the Torah?

It depends on the type of mistake. Most (not all) mistakes in cantillation may be overlooked. Mistakes in pronunciation which don't affect meaning should be corrected but the Torah-reading is still okay if they're not properly reread. Mistakes which alter the meaning must be reread.

What languafe is Torah scroll written and read in?

The Torah, which means Teachings, forms the core of the Jewish Bible, the Tanach. It consists of 5 books: Bereishit (Genesis), Shemot (Exodus), Vayikra (Leviticus), Bamidbar (Numbers), Devarim (Deuteronomy). The Tanach is made up of the Torah (Teachings), Nevi'im (Prophets), and K'tuvim (Writings).
