The synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) indicate that the entire period of Jesus' mission was not more than one year. There is no mention of him going to Jerusalem for the Passover until the very end of his mission, and scholars say that all the events described could have taken place in as little as a few weeks. On the other hand, John's Gospel makes it clear that the entire period of Jesus' mission must have been three years, chiefly because of the intermediate trips to Jerusalem.
It is for this reason that there is controversy over the probable year of the crucifixion. From the time that Lukegives for the baptism of Jesus, it seems unlikely that the crucifixion would be later than 30 CE. However, this does not fit well with John, so the alternative year is 33 CE.
Jesus' disciples
They all faithly remained Jesus disciples after his death.
for years
Jesus' disciples were primarily Jewish.
The disciples viewed Jesus as the Messiah; the son of God.
The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray.
Why did Jesus call the disciples?Jesus called the disciples because He wanted followers. The disciples (Jesus' followers) set an example for people back in Biblical times. The disciples were very helpful (most of them anyways.)
