Water your lettuce very lightly 2 times a day. Over watering can lead to soft soggy lettuce which can be gross when eating. Hope this helps :)
Twice a day should be sufficient but make sure you don't do it while the plants are in direct sunlight. I recommend first thing in the morning around sunrise and perhaps later in the afternoon when the sun is not so hot.
