There are many occasions mentioned in the Bible. Here are some examples:

The Great Flood was the 1st storm mentioned. Genesis 7:17-20, "The flooding continued for 40 days on the earth, and the waters kept increasing and began carrying the ark, and it was floating high above the earth.  The waters became overwhelming and kept increasing greatly upon the earth, but the ark floated on the surface of the waters.  The waters overwhelmed the earth so greatly that all the tall mountains under the whole heavens were covered. The waters rose up to 15 cubits above the mountains."

Job 1:18,19 mentions a great wind that was caused by Satan the Devil. It was 1 of a series of catastrophes that he brought upon Job. "While he was still speaking, yet another one came and said: “Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house. Suddenly a great wind came from the wilderness, and it struck the four corners of the house, so that it fell on the young people and they were killed. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.”

Matthew 8:23-26 mentions, "And when he went aboard a boat, his disciples followed him.  Now look! a great storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but he was sleeping.  And they came and woke him up, saying: “Lord, save us, we are about to perish!”  But he said to them: “Why are you so afraid, you with little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and a great calm set in."
