How old was Enoch when he dies?

The seventh from Adam. Son of Jared, and father of Methuselah (Gen. 5:18-24; Luke 3:37; Heb. 11:5). The biblical account of Enoch is scanty. It tells us that he was translated, but gives nothing of the details of his ministry. A quotation from his prophecy is found in Jude 1:14.

This can be found in Genesis 5. Technically Enoch did not die. Enoch was a faithful servant to God, so faithful that God decided that he was too good for death. At 365 years old God brought Enoch to heaven without Enoch dying. "Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." (Genesis 5:23-24)

1 And it was in the eighty-fourth year of the life of Noah, that Enoch the son of Seth died, he was nine hundred and five years old at his death.

The Bible does not tell us his age upon his death but it does tell us that no one has gone to heaven except Jesus (see John 3:13). In Hebrews, chapter 11, Paul tells us the following:

Hebrews 11:5New American Standard Bible (NASB)5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death; and he was not found because God took him up; for he obtained the witness that before his being taken up he was pleasing to God.

It varies slightly depending upon the translation in use, but the term 'taken' can also be 'transferred' and this seems to be the meaning here as Jesus told us Scripture cannot be broken meaning it must agree fully (see John 10:35).

Further evidence supporting 'transferred' away or elsewhere. Consider Elijah and Philip in 2 Kings 2:11 and Acts 8:39, respectively. They too were taken away or transferred to a place of safety so they would not be killed where they were.

In any event, there are several interpretations about Enoch and Elijah but the Bible does not give us conclusive information as to what or when they died as Paul concluded in Hebrews 11 here:
