If the son is equal to the father then why does 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 27 and 28 and 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verse 3 say that the christ is subject to the father?

There are many contradictions in The Bible. Fortunately, it is not a book of logic. At the same time, remember that the Trinity itself is an entirely pagan idea, borrowed by early Christianity to help convert the Greeks and Romans to the Law. There was the Capitoline Trinity of Jupiter, Juno and Minerva, and of course the far older triple Moon Goddess.

This is a good example of something which is explained with reference to a number of passages and was well understood by Paul who wrote the letter to the Corinthians.

Firstly the passages in question, set out below, refer to divine order. In the same way as the husband being head of the wife does not imply inferiority of any kind, so in this case. There is evidently order in the Godhead, which does not imply inferiority.

Also, in relation to Jesus' earthly period, there involved an emptying, or a divesting of His Godly qualities in order for Him to dwell with men. This was necessary for Him both to dwell on the earth and for Him to suffer and die as a man, for all men. As the passage in Philippians point out, (and there are others similar) Jesus is Lord. Jesus is also to be worshiped, something He accepted while on earth, something which no angel can ever accept. In Revelation He is described in the same terms as almighty God the Father, namely 'Alpha and Omega.' Jesus is described in John 1 and elsewhere as the creator.

There is thus no contradiction, only misunderstanding.
