In what countries is it illegal to own a bible?

Apart from fundamentalist individuals who wish the Koran to be banned, I am unaware that any particuar COUNTRY has banned it unless they are atheistic totalitarian dictatorships like North Korea and all religious literature is banned.

The only country that has actually banned Judaism is SAUDI ARABIA. It is against Saudi Law to engage in Jewish prayer, own or use Jewish religious paraphernalia, and against the law to be a legal resident or citizen if you are Jewish or convert to Judaism.

However, there are numerous (1) countries where being a Jew can subject you to government-sanctioned violence, even though there is no explicit law on the matter, or (2) countries where showing clear symbols of Judaism on your person (kippot, tallit, payot, etc.) will result in informal violence, or (3) countries that have certain areas that Jews are "requested" to not enter by informal thugs who will beat them upon entry but the Jews can have normal lives in most areas of the country.

Categories (1) and (2) are primarily in the Islamic World, with some notable exceptions like Morocco and Tunisia. Most countries in the Islamic World will fall into categories (1) and (2). Hungary is also beginning to fall into category (2). Category (3) tends to occur in elsewhere in Europe, especially Sweden, in areas with large immigrant populations like Malmo. This is resulting in a Jewish exodus from these areas within Europe.
