A: The story of Jesus feeding the five thousand is in all the New Testament gospels, although it was originally in Mark's Gospel (6:35-44), from which the story was copied to the other gospels. The story was part of a contiguous set of stories that also included the feeding of the four thousand and a total of ten references or allusions to food (Mark 6:33-8:21 ):
These all form one part of a pair in the framework, parallel structure in which the matching event is the Last Supper.
Fish and bread and turn water into wine
The bread was barley loaves, and the type of fish is unknown. It is likely to have been the sardine or the musht fish found in the nearby waters.
'Jesus feeds the Five Thousand'
According to Mark Jesus fed 5000 men. According to Matthew, Jesus fed 5000 men plus women and children. In other words, Matthew had a little more detail than Mark. Perhaps this lines up with his background. He was used to counting everything and everybody. Mark was also a briefer Gospel and he left a few incidentals out.
Yes
The famous incident is the feeding of the five thousand. A crowd of five thousand people had gathered to listen to Jesus preaching, but they didn't bring any lunch (pretty stupid, huh?). Some kid did bring lunch with him; five loaves of bread (not like Hovis sliced white bread or something; probably about the size of a fist) and three fish. Jesus blessed the food, and it was multiplied. The fishes and loaves fed five thousand people: a miracle.
If you read the account carefully you will notice that they never mention the type of fish or bread. So the answer is "could be" or may not have been.

When i arrived on this world i needed to feed five thousand people. there was a young boy with bread and water. Me being the son of god i transformed this bread and water into fish and wine. So just ask Jesus ;)
