Technically Brahmacharya means chastity in thought, speech & action. It does involves controlling (or regultaing so to speak) the senses but by suppression or repression. And absolute control can be achieved after mastering brahmacharya. You see, the mind is the region of lust & the mind too is the chief of all senses & hence controlling the mind will evetually lead to controlling of the senses.

If God had absolute control over EVERYTHING then he should be the one answering for all sins, not the sinner, as he is in control of the sinner. But we were given free will. God does not have absolute control. or I don't think so. If God is in absolute control, then why is there evil, famine, wars, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, etc.
Oh, dude, Gandhi took the vow of 'brahmacharya' or celibacy for life when he was 36 years old in 1906. Like, he was all about that celibate life from then on, which is pretty intense if you ask me. Can you imagine giving up all that Netflix and chill?
