^ This is true, but seeing as the ubisoft game makers try to make the game as realistic as possible, it is pretty safe to assume that he is muslim. the assassins, or the hashashin, as they were called, were a sect of muslims bent on secrecy, murder, and what not. there wernt alot of critian in the holy land at the time the assassins were formed. it was after the first crusade, in which more cristian pilgrims started migrating to the holy land
