In my opinion, I don't find it bad, or good. Denomination, i think, separates the church itself (the Christians). Some denominations teach against the Bible. As long as the church teaches only the Bible and its Truth, i wouldn't call it "bad". ----God bless!----

Some of them come directly from the Bible. Some are interpretations of the Bible. Others come from the "Depository of Faith", or the traditional tenets of a denomination that has teaching authority on matters of faith. Individual Christians often come up with their own individual beliefs that are not shared by the denomination they belong to.
If you are referring to what is properly called the Word of God, that phrase should be capitalized. It isn't found anywhere but in the Bible because that's where it originates from. Every denomination has its holy book and that's where you find the preachings and teachings of that denomination. The Bible has many interpretations by many different denominations. Also, there are many, many versions of the Bible itself that have been crafted to fit the beliefs of the various Christian denominations.
