According to the Christian faith suicide is a sin. The Bible says to protect your body as it is the temple of the Holy Spirit, it is sinful to hurt it intentionally in any way.

according to the catholic bible suicide is a mortal sin. the bible says you should be thankful for your body and receive the sacraments.

Yes, it is a mortal sin; That is,

It is gravely contrary to the just love of self. It likewise offends love of neighbor because it unjustly breaks the ties of solidarity with family, nation and other human societies to which we continue to have obligations. Suicide is contrary to love for the living God. (CCC 2281).

Grave psychological disturbances, anguish, or grave fear of hardship, suffering, or torture can diminish the responsibility of the one committing suicide. (CCC 2282)

Moreover, it is important not to despair that eternal salvation is lost to those who commit suicide. For, by ways known to him alone, God can provide the opportunity for salutary repentance. The Church prays for persons who have taken their own lives. (CCC 2283)

Yes, suicide is a sin. Although there is no sin greater than any other sin, suicide is... well, sort of like telling God "I quit."

Here is a bible verse regarding suicide:

Be not overly wicked, neither be a fool. Why should you die before your time? (Ecclesiastes 7:17, English Standard Version)

If you commit suicide, you are practically ending the life of a creation of God. And, did not God command man to not murder?

i think it’s not because Jesus said that he did not want his kids to suffer and if they have a problem come to him so why not us come home instead of suffering
