yes.
In bible it is being prohibited as Exodus 20:4-5 says "You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. 5 You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion,"
No one has seen god, moreover he has spirit body so it is wrong to make any statue to worship him.
bible also warns us "Little children, guard yourselves from idols." (1 john 5:21)
Added comment: 'worshipping statues' is certainly against Christian (although some Roman Catholic practices come close), Jewish and Muslim theology, but other religions appear to disagree. I assume that Buddhists, Hindus and others which appear to worship statues are, in fact, only regarding the statue as a representation of the god they believe in, which isn't really much different from Christian churches which have a crucified Jesus at 'the business end' of their churches.

I agree with the above statement, though I do ask myself, do people actually worship the statue or what the statue represents. No one has seen Christ but there are many interpretations by artists of what Christ may have looked like.
Statues I believe give the worshiper something to focus upon. Though to close ones eyes and use the mind to focus on the prayer rather than on what God looks like is perhaps more acceptable to God.

The Roman catholic Church says that they do not worship the statues but that they are a means to aid in worshiping God. Exodus 20: 4, 5. says not to make a carved image of anything. If Jesus had made an image of his mother and knelt and prayed to it the Law of God would have meant that his fellow worshippers - the Jews- would have to stone him to death.
It is not against the law, In the country of Egypt, to have a beard. There are some loss regarding beards in the act of worship.
The Jews do not worship ANY people. Worshipping people is a violation of Jewish law. Jews only worship God.
God being who He is cannot go against the laws He has made. They are permanent and irreversible. He would not be God if He were to go against that which is The Law for He is the Law and the Law Giver. Like the Law He himself is unchangeable. Is this a quote from the bible?

It is not legally possible to pursue a lawsuit against God as God is not a physical entity that can be held accountable in a court of law.
No, Jews worship in synagogues.Christian Churches usually have depictions and images (especially of Jesus), making it against Jewish Law to pray in such a place.

There is no such thing as devil pray. God said that devil pray is against God's law
The sin of commiting adultery is very bad against god , that includes divorce.
The key term in Islamic belief about God is that God is the one and only one God to be worshiped with no partner, no son, no associate, no companion, and no equivalence.Answer:God is the only Creator. God is the only Law Giver and Controller of everything that happens. God, alone, has attributes that no one else has. He is completely UNIQUE.The original religion of God - the religion He gave to Adam and Eve, and all the Prophets - is the same religion. It is to believe that no one else but God is really God. No one else is worthy of worship and obedience. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.We do not worship the Sun. We worship the One who created the Sun. We do not worship any rocks, trees, or anything else, in nature. we worship the One who created nature. We do not worship Jesus (the Messiah). We worship the One who createdand sent Jesus.
