True
Jesus was here for 40 days after He was resurrected. Acts 1 gives an accounting.
Answer:Because it's Jesus' LIFE that saves us... not His DEATH."...if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; YE ARE YET IN YOUR SINS..." (I Cor.15:17).
Jesus was the only person to be resurrected from the dead in a resurrection body. His body was changed from a physical body to a resurrection body just as Christians who are resurrected on "that' day will receive a resurrection body. Matthew 27:51-54 gives some signs that occurred at the death of Christ. One was that some graves were opened on that day but the live bodies did not emerge from the tombs until Jesus resurrected three days later. These people came forth from the graves much like Lazarus did. They were revived but not resurrected and they were not in their resurrection bodies. We are not told how long these people remain alive before they died again..........to be resurrected with the rest of the saints on resurrection day, just as Lazarus died physically some time later after Jesus brought him back from the dead ....... to be resurrected with the rest of us on resurrection day.
The resurrection is a central belief of Christianity. It states that even though Jesus was killed by the Romans, his body did not remain in the tomb. Instead, Jesus ascended to Heaven to be with His Father (God). The belief that Jesus rose from the dead is extremely important because it shows that Jesus did not really die and he could not be killed; he conquered death, and his resurrection gives Christians hope, since he is supposed to return and bring about the Final Days. It should be noted that many pagan and ancient faiths believed in a dying and rising god. Also, there is no way to know whether Jesus really rose from the dead. But to Christians, he absolutely did, because the Bible (New Testament) said so.
I'd say life after death As a true historical event, the death of Jesus, and His glorious resurrection is a sure hope and assurance that those who believe in Him will in like manner have the victory over death - in actual reality, not just as some kind of spiritual mystery. This gives meaning and direction to life, as well as the power to carry out His will. Since Jesus is alive forevermore, He is one with whom anyone can have a relationship today.
The ascension of Jesus is only mentioned in Luke's Gospel and Acts of the Apsotles, although the accounts differ. Luke 24:51 says that the ascension of Jesus was watched by the disciples on the evening of his resurrection. Acts of the Apostles, although by the same author, says (chapter 1) that Jesus acended to heaven forty days after his resurrection, in the presence of 'them', an undefined number of people. Each of the gospels gives a different account of how many times the Risen Jesus appeared, and how many saw him after his resurrection. The exception is Mark's Gospel, which in its original form ended at verse 16:8, with the young man telling the women that Jesus was risen and they told no one; the "Long Ending" (verses 16:9-20) was added long afterwards to provide the necessary resurrection appearances and to more or less harmonise Markwith Matthew and Luke.
None. It only offers hope for every person. Jesus is a historical character who did truly resurrect, which gives every one hope and the only logical solution to the meaning of life. There is more historical evidence that Jesus existed, than there is for Julius Caesar. He is the way the truth and the life and only in him we can find eternal satisfaction.
Jesus came to save people and rise from the dead. So his coming to Earth and his rising from the dead are important events. Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas. At Easter, they celebrate Jesus rising from the grave. Although it is not as widely celebrated as Christmas, Easter is the most important of the two events, and is the most important event in Christianity.

In his letters, particularly in 1 Corinthians 15:19, Paul refers to a life without hope in Christ as a "miserable life." He emphasizes that if believers only have hope in this life, they are to be pitied, as the resurrection of Jesus gives meaning and purpose beyond earthly existence. Thus, a life devoid of faith in the resurrection is characterized by despair and futility.
