In American English, the phrase "give 'em hell" is an expression to fight an enemy as hard you can, not necessarily an invocation or curse to send them to hell. Regardless, a Muslim should be careful in the way that he speaks to as not to imply that he may wish hellfire on anyone. There are far less crude expression such as "do not give them an inch" or "resist them 'till your dying breath" that are much less problematic.
