Is tattoo a sin in any way?

depends on how you want to take it. by some it is considered a defilement of a flesh. for some it's ok to have to have them, just don't over do it. and for others it doesn't really matter. so by most people, a tatto is not considered a sin. by some it is. which ever you want to take, but if you are affilated to any religious organization, you can find out what their stand is on tattooes.

Most Christian groups don't have a problem with it, but it is frowned upon by some Christians. This might be more to to with individual preference rather than anything to do with their faith though.

The Bible says your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; anything which defiles the body (smoking, drinking, eating junk food, etc.) is sinful.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
