"The urantia" usually refers to the Urantia Papers, published since 1955 as the Urantia Book. This "fifth epochal revelation", the recent of five Urantia Blessings to our planet, presents 2097 pages of revelatory text that is sometimes controversial in comparison to historical religious books.
But corroboration of some of this text by human sources is often possible. This "Gift of Revelation" section of Paper 92 helps explain the mystery:
Paper 92 - The Later Evolution of Religion
Section 4. The Gift of Revelation
"Revelation is evolutionary but always progressive. Down through the ages of a world's history, the revelations of religion are ever-expanding and successively more enlightening. It is the mission of revelation to sort and censor the successive religions of evolution. But if revelation is to exalt and upstep the religions of evolution, then must such divine visitations portray teachings which are not too far removed from the thought and reactions of the age in which they are presented. Thus must and does revelation always keep in touch with evolution. Always must the religion of revelation be limited by man's capacity of receptivity." (92:4.1)
"There have been many events of religious revelation but only five of epochal significance": (92:4.4)
1. The Dalamatian teachings. (early humans)
2. The Edenic teachings. (Adam and Eve)
3. Melchizedek of Salem.
4. Jesus of Nazareth. (Christ Michael)
5. The Urantia Papers.
The Urantia Book was created in 1955-10.
False
True AND False OR True evaluates to True. IT seems like it does not matter which is evaluated first as: (True AND False) OR True = False OR True = True True AND (False OR True) = True AND True = True But, it does matter as with False AND False OR True: (False AND False) OR True = False OR True = True False AND (False OR True) = False AND True = False and True OR False AND False: (True OR False) AND False = True AND False = False True OR (False AND False) = True OR False = True Evaluated left to right gives a different answer if the operators are reversed (as can be seen above), so AND and OR need an order of evaluation. AND can be replaced by multiply, OR by add, and BODMAS says multiply is evaluated before add; thus AND should be evaluated before OR - the C programming language follows this convention. This makes the original question: True AND False OR True = (True AND False) OR True = False OR True = True
The "book of the urantia" has also been expressed as the "Book of Urantia", but neither expression is the published title (since first publication in 1955): the Urantia Book. The "book of the apocrypha", at least in association with the Urantia Book, is not a published book and refers more to the loose collection of writings and notes (a collection not necessarily identified in its entirety) created during the reception of the Urantia Papers in the early 20th century and their later compilation into the Urantia Book. Incidentally, "apocrypha" often refers to secret or hidden writings, so how would such writings be evaluated by most truth seekers? Whether or not such a Urantia apocrypha has value - relative to the purpose and message of this revelation - might be determined in later decades. For the interim, this apocrypha is only assumed to exist as a formal collection, is mostly controversial, and is usually ignored by long-time students of the Papers. Since the entirety of the apocrypha still needs to be identified, ascertaining its truth is the challenge for later generations. As for the Book, which reveals our planet's existence amongst many other inhabited planets in an intelligent, spiritual universe of unfathomable size, its message of the brotherhood of man and fatherhood of a universal creator is key - if this is believed to be true, one can easily find truth in the Papers. The Foreword page of the online Urantia Blessing site identifies Acknowledgments by the authors/sponsors of the Papers and lists those authors/sponsors by their universe title. The Acknowledgements provide a good starting point for determining whether or not an epochal revelation (the fifth to our planet) has been received. False. It is software.
The authorship of the Urantia Book is unknown and remains a topic of debate and speculation.
True
Assuming that you mean not (p or q) if and only if P ~(PVQ)--> P so now construct a truth table, (just place it vertical since i cannot place it vertical through here.) P True True False False Q True False True False (PVQ) True True True False ~(PVQ) False False False True ~(PVQ)-->P True True True False if it's ~(P^Q) -->P then it's, P True True False False Q True False True False (P^Q) True False False False ~(P^Q) False True True True ~(P^Q)-->P True True False False
Yes. If all the question's parts are true, then the answer is true. If all the question's parts are false, then the answer is false. If one of the question's parts is false and the rest true, then the answer is false. Logically, this is illustrated below using: A = True, B = True, C = True, D = False, E = False, F = False A and B and C = True D and E and F = False A and B and D = False If you add NOT, it's a bit more complicated. A and NOT(D) = True and True = True NOT(D) and D = True and False = False NOT(A) and NOT(B) = False and False = False Using OR adds another layer of complexity. A OR NOT(E) = True OR True = True NOT(D) OR D = True OR False = False NOT(A) OR NOT(B) = False OR False = False Logic is easy once you understand the rules.
