The Son of God (Jesus the Christ) was sent to earth to reconcile man (human beings) to God. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice to satisfy God and so He went to the cross to die for us. He took our place so that we could have everlasting life with our creator. This was His mission.
Bring spiritual salvation to believers.
To do His father's will. That will was to reconcile sinful man back to God, and that was to die as a sacrifice on the cross of Calvary and be resurrected the third day. This is the mission the God Head had decided on in eternity past (Matthew 18:11). Jesus completed this mission and proclaimed on the cross, "It is finished" (John 19:30).
jesus send me on a mission
Mission according to Jesus
jesus christ
Jesus knew his fathers mission right from the start.
Jesus' mission was complete at Golgotha where he was eventually executed.
His coming was first proclaimed by John the Baptist. Christ himself proved this by his resurrection. The Disciples of Christ proclaimed what had happened.
No-one. Jesus is without sin and needs no saving. He isthe Saviour.
Baptism served as a pivotal moment for Jesus, marking the beginning of his public ministry and affirming his identity as the Messiah. By being baptized by John the Baptist, Jesus identified himself with humanity's sin and need for redemption, signaling his mission to save and reconcile humanity with God. This event also received divine affirmation, as the heavens opened and God's voice proclaimed Jesus as His beloved Son, further empowering him for the mission ahead. Thus, baptism was both a preparation and a public declaration of his divine purpose.
The mission of Jesus is to come to earth once again , to judge mankind.
Jesus Christ!
