I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'Poetry sections'. Psalms is the only book that really was written in poetic form. And that's because it's actually a collection of songs. Thus the name 'Psalms'. So I've picked a few books which I believe have no or few poetic style scriptures in them: Genesis, Exodus, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, etc.

It might help to list the books that are generally placed in the poetry section: Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs.

Simply, of the Old Testament books, the "Historical Books" are discussions of particular historical events in Israelite history, such as the conquest of Canaan, the coronations of Saul, David, and successor kings, and the defeat of the Israelites at the hands of the Assyrians and Babylonians. Conversely, the other sections are "the Law", "the Prophets", and "Poetry", all of which are similarly straightforward. It is worth noting that this delineation of books in the Bible is only followed by Christians.
