Hi I am no asrtologer but this is based on my understanding of the subject. on Jan 14 the the suns crosses over or leaves the Tropic Of Capricorn. The sun had already started its journey from the very end of the Southern Hemisphere after Dec 22 when in northern hemisphere it was the longest night.
