How about paying a professional calligrapher to do this? Depending on the number of cards to write and the costs, you can have them elegantly printed up (less expensive if the number of cards is high), or have the calligrapher actually write them for you. And then you can simply sign the cards. While a hand-written note is more personal, the essence of good etiquette is that everyone is honored and comfortable. If the the result is hard for them to read, and embarrassing for you, then that's the wrong way to go.

The term used for cursive handwriting is simply "cursive." It refers to a style of writing in which the letters are joined together in a flowing and connected manner.

What is the difference between long hand writing and block letter hand writing?

There's really no such thing as block letter handwriting. The term is used to infer cursive writing, although the definition of handwriting in most dictionaries is anything written by hand. Logic says this doesn't make sense, but not much English word usage does.

How do you write in good handwriting?

Use a fountain, dip nib pen, or goose quill. They will 'control' the hand far better than any biro. Find a Caligraphy Book that shows the full Alphabet of both printed form and cursive forms of writing. Using one of the writing implements above, copy the cursive form shown in a caligraphy book. NB A biro allows the hand to 'slip', thereby making your handwriting untidy/unreadable.

Why is Wikipedia in cursive it's hard to read?

Cursive mean joined up handwriting and it is not used in Wikipedia ...i think what they are saying is that when they go to wikipedia, all the pages other than the main page pretty much, are written in cursive. i have that same problem too. i tried changing the internet options font but that did nothing. i was hoping i could find out why it is like that or how to change it but i only found this when i googled it. sorry. CURSIVE (joined up handwriting) is in use at least for me and this guy, i dont know why, but i know the difference between print and cursive, and its cursive. if you get google chrome, it is in print again though___Thanks. I'm puzzled, as I use Wikipedia and it's always in 'print' type. I've changed the categories as it may help you get an answer.____That's really strange. I've never seen anything like that. If changing your browser works, that is a great idea. If not, make sure you have the correct language chosen on the wikipedia.org page. Some other languages look cursive and have similar letters.

What does your handwriting say about you?

Well, usually, if it's really sloppy, it's usually a boys handwriting. If it's neat, or atleast as neat as needed so you can read it, then it's usually a girl. But not always. Your handwriting doesn't really say much about you.

Why are companies reticent about revealing their use of graphology?

Because there are some serious doubts about if a person's handwriting really says anything about somebody's personal qualities or not. Most of the characteristics in a person's handwriting are set by circumstances around when we learned to write, and how we've used our writing ability since. It's - at best - a very crude indicator of personal qualities.
