Yes the vision was powerful.

Another answer:Saul was not saved by his vision; Jesus told him to "go into the city, and you will be told what you must do" (Acts 9:6). Saul was baptized by Ananias after spending three days in Damascus blinded by his vision, taking no food or drink (v.9).

Acts 9:17-19 - And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit." Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized. So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus.

Not only was Saul baptized, he was baptized before he even ate after fasting for three days. His haste clearly affirms the need, and speaks volumes about what's truly important.

Also, in the discourse recorded in Acts 22, Saul (now called Paul) quotes Ananias in verse 16: 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'

Can human ever save themselves give explanation for your anwer?

Well, i am Catholic so this is what i have been taught: Yes, this is how you can save yourself by being a Christian: Once you are Baptized, you are freed from original sin which means that any sins that you have committed before being Baptized are also forgiven. So after you have been Baptized, you have technically been saved. However, you also need to go to Confession regularly to be forgiven for your sins. Make sure not to commit any mortal sins and you are good to go... However, I believe that you do not have to be a Christian to be saved. As long as you lead a good life and don't do anything really bad then i believe that you can be saved

How much of the New Testament do we really need to be saved and has this been condensed as in the red letter versions of the Bible showing Jesus' words?

You don't need to read the bible to be saved, you don't need to read it at all. Jesus just says that it is good for us, fruit for the soul. To be saved all you need to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe with your heart that he died and rose from the dead. That's it your saved. It's then your choice if you want to please Jesus by going to church and reading the bible. Just as long as you have confessed and believe, your saved and Jesus is happy and loves you just the same.

Was Jesus baptize?

yes, by John the Baptist (Matthew 3:13-17) When Jesus asked John to baptize Him, John was surprised and said, "I need to be baptized by You! And you're coming to me?!" But Jesus said he had to to fulfill all righteousness. Baptism isn't necessary for salvation, but when you are saved baptism is a commandment from God.

I asked my parents if I was baptized an they said that I was blessed They said this is similar to getting baptized do I still need to get baptized?

Does a person need to be baptized again if he or she switch over to another religion?

This depends on the rules of the Church into which you switch. If a person is baptized in a Protestant Christian church, and switches to the Catholic Church, he does not have to be baptized again.

Can you be baptized in a christian church after you were already baptized catholic?

No. As Christians, we believe in 'one baptism for the remission of sins.' You cannot be baptized twice. As long as you were baptized using the formula: "....I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit," then your baptism was perfectly valid and it does not need to be repeated.
