Yes indeed. We are to be 'imitators' of Jesus, doing all that He did. The first century Church of Apostles and disciples (means an imitator) kept all the Commands of God - in particular the 4th or keeping the Sabbath of God (not Jews). It identifies us as His and there is a blessing in doing so - our days may be long in the land - or full of years. Paul taught Jews (first Christians) and gentiles on the Sabbath usually in the Synagogue:

Acts 18:4New King James Version (NKJV)

4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

Jesus never changed the Sabbath law and said He was 'Lord of the Sabbath' and that HE did not come to change the Law but to fulfill it to the brim and delivered to the saints (see below). God never changed the Sabbath, men did on their own authority - NOT God's.

Jude 1:3-4New King James Version (NKJV)

Contend for the Faith

3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God[a] and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Son or Word was so subordinate to the Father that the Son was not God but a creature of God?

AnswerThis was the position of the Arian Christians, who were prominent in the late third to fourth centuries. Some of the Christian emperors of the fourth century seem to have followed Arius and, had their views prevailed, Christians would no doubt hold the same views today.

What happens when Christians do follow the Ten Commandments?

The first three commandments are essentially different ways of saying to worship no other god, and almost all Chrstians follow this commandment. The exceptions are people in countries where Christianity is not well understood and belief is only superficial. There is no apparent difference in outcome, at least in this world, for people who do follow these commandments. The next commandment says to do no work on the Sabbath, nor to require or request others to do so or even allow an animal to do so, and is almost never honoured. Most Christians would find it inconvenient and socially demanding to follow this commandment. The fifth commandment is to honour your father and your mother, a useful social rule usually observed by Christians out of filial love rather than by bringing to mind a commandment. A son who strikes his father, even lightly, is no longer required to be condemned to death. The last five commandments define some important moral ideals, although only stated in general terms: do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness against your neighbour, do not covet that which belongs to your neighbour, including his wife or slaves. The commandment against false witness is a commandment against lying, and some of the early Church Fathers demanded absolute obedience to this commandment, even while bending it themselves. A Christian who decided never to lie, even to save others from unnecessary suffering or to prevent a crime, would need to consider the consequences. The recognition in the tenth commandment of the rights of slave-owners is something not relevant in most societies today.

Is the commandment love one another still relevant today?

Absolutely - the whole law (includes repentance) and gospel (includes faith) hangs also upon the commandment to agape one another.
