I believe they should be kept out of school unless the school is run under a certain religion for children of that religion only. There is too much fighting and indifference in childrens lives and this does not help in any way.

The to your question depends on if you are inquiring with respect to the school's administration or the personal choice of the individual.

In the first case of the school's administration, it should only be allowed if the school is privately owned and operated. No public information or education system should be permitted to impose their beliefs upon others.

In the second case however it is the inalienable right of every individual to have or carry upon them a symbol or token of his/her religious belief.
