The only country in which the government is party to any serious persecution of Christians is North Korea, and this does not receive government funding from any Western country. Unofficial persecution exists in some Middle Eastern countries, but the only Middle Eastern country to receive government financial aid from the United States is Israel. Since most Christian Palestinians have long since fled to the West, Israel can not now be said to persecute Christians, and any persecution that exists is over land ownership, not religion. So, government funding of countries that persecute Christians does not occur and is not an issue.
