The Ethical Humanist Society of the Triangle is the new name for the North Carolina Society for Ethical Culture. We recently changed our name to recognize that there is now another Ethical Society group in Asheville and to more clearly assert our identity as a humanist group. We remain a member of the American Ethical Union, the national organization of the Ethical Culture Movement whose members use various names such as Ethical Humanist Society, Ethical Culture Society, or Ethical Society.
