No he was not tempted, he did so by his own choice. Judas was a thief and an unworthy man. He was greedy and contemptuous, yet Christ chose him as one of the apostles so that Gods plan could be fulfilled.
In the garden of Gethsemane Judas said nothing to Jesus, but had told the guards that the man that he kisses on the cheek is to be arressted. Jesus replied to Judas after the kiss, "You betray the Son of Man with a kiss?"

Despite the terrible betrayal that was involved in Judas Iscariot's act, it was the will of God and Jesus that He would go to the cross for our sins. Just as Jesus did not have to hang on the cross (He could have saved Himself) He did not have befriend Judas, but He did because it would ultimately lead to Him paying the penalty for our sins.
The question of whether Judas Iscariot loved Jesus, despite betraying him, is complex and often debated. Some interpretations suggest that Judas may have had conflicting feelings, possibly seeing his actions as a means to force Jesus into a position of power. Others argue that true love would not lead to betrayal, indicating that Judas's actions were driven by greed or disillusionment rather than genuine affection. Ultimately, the nature of Judas's feelings remains a subject of theological interpretation and speculation.
No there was no spirit that lead Jesus into the desert. He went on his own will to pray. And the devil then tempted him.In the Gospels:Matthew 4:1 - Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.Mark 1:12, 13 - Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him.Luke 4:1, 2 - Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. The Spirit being spoken of is God's Holy Spirit.[Quotes from NKJV]
