I don't know about The Bible that interesting but there is a myth about a Black god name Murduk in from babylon. I was wondering myself....

Another Answer:

Marduk is the patron deity for the Babylonians. It was also referred to as Merodach which means 'the great rebel.'

Jeremiah 50:2-3New King James Version (NKJV)

2 " Declare among the nations,

Proclaim, and set up a standard;

Proclaim-do not conceal it-

Say, 'Babylon is taken, Bel is shamed.

Merodach[a] is broken in pieces;

Her idols are humiliated,

Her images are broken in pieces.'

3 For out of the north a nation comes up against her,

Which shall make her land desolate,

And no one shall dwell therein.

They shall move, they shall depart,

Both man and beast.

The first rebel after the flood was Cush. He had many names attributed to him, with Bel, a title of the god Baal being most prominent - it means 'confounder.' These names were past on to his son, Nimrod, who is said to have been a black man. There was a saying that 'can the Ethiopian change his skin?' which was originally, 'Can the Cushite' do this? Nimrod was the 1st great and powerful warrior who founded Babel - Babylon.

What was the most important gods of Babylon?

Hammurabi, and the people of his empire, worshiped several gods. Their chief god was Marduk. The Babylonians built temples, called ziggurats, to worship their gods. The city of Babylon had an especially beautiful temple dedicated to Marduk. It may have looked something like this imagined construction. From the Enuma Elish, the epic poem of this ancient religion, we learn how Marduk becomes the chief god. (The link takes you to a picture of some of the tablets written in Cuneiform, in the Akkadian language.) The people eventually called him "Bel" which means "lord." From the epic creation poem Gilgamesh, we learn how man survived a Great Flood.
