It's possible. Either that or she had an affair, or had premarital relations with Joseph or she was indeed impregnated by God. Clarke So Many things in the Bible appear that they could have been done by an advanced civilization from another place. Remember, folks back then did not have the language to describe something like a man in modern clothes, with a gas mask or syringe that was used to put Mary to sleep for a few minutes to inseminate her. There were no words to describe a guy in brillient white uniforms other than "white robes like an Angel." Aliens could have projected a 3d holograham to them and the best way to describe that? Maybe a burning bush! The star of Bethlahem? A laser marking the birth of a hybrid Alien Earthling. no one really knows and to say so is merely speculation or faith and there's nothing wrong with that either.
