Answer:
Unless I missed a scripture (and I could have)... I don't know of any specifics as to what God and His angels were doing. But, the biblical evidence is that there was joy throughout the universe when God first created the universe and the angels... until war broke out.
In testing Job, God inquired of him regarding the "foundations of the earth"... the beginnings of creation... and made this comment:
"...Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?... Who marked off its dimensions?... Who stretched a measuring line across it... WHILE THE MORNING STARS SANG TOGETHER AND ALL THE ANGELS SHOUTED FOR JOY?" (Job 38:4-7)
Before Adam and Eve there was universal joy and happiness.
Even Lucifer, the archangel, was well-behaved, as attested to by Ezekiel.
Although Ezekiel was inspired to address this passage to the "king of Tyre"... it's quite evident that the king was never in the Garden of Eden, nor was he a "cherub." Yet, the king evidently harbored enough devilish traits to rate comparison to Satan:
"...You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
"...Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth..." (Ezek.28:12-17 NIV).
So, unless I missed something, according to God's Word... all was perfection in the universe before the creation of Adam and Eve. Joy and happiness reigned, until Lucifer corrupted himself, convinced the angels under his command to join him... and "war broke out" (Rev.12:7-9 NIV).
How long this happiness lasted is anyone's guess. But before Adam and Eve, the universe knew both joy and war.
It impacted my life, cause if Heaven's on Earth, I'm trying to figure out how the hell I got in.
adam was not given life in heaven. he was human humans have their lives on earth.
not as we know it, there will be a new Heaven and a new earth.
A:There is really no such thing as heaven, but people who believe in heaven seem to imagine it as an idealised version of life on earth, with much singing and praying. On these views, heaven is just like real life.
Nature. Shapes were there long before there was life on earth, or indeed, before there was the solar system.
Heaven, by definition, is life with God, it is called the Beatific Vision (in which one enjoys the sight of God for eternity). It is what we were created for, and the earth, and this mortal life, were created as a testing place in order for us to make our decision as to whether we want to spent our eternity in eternal joy with God, or eternal misery separated from Him.
To answer this question directly, he was in Heaven. Genesis sais that in the beginning, God created the Heavens an the Earth. In this case, I don't thing this refers to the Heaven where the 'righteous' will live forever. It refers to space!

Man created heaven in his mind to alleviate all the problems he/she might encounter on the Earth. Whilst it is nice to believe that after this life you will ascend into blissful luxury upon a floating cloud of silver lining, the reality is not true.
Depends on where you go........ Heaven- no Hell- yes

Roman Catholics believe in three places a soul can go after death: Hell, Heaven, or Purgatory. Heaven and Hell are eternal, Purgatory is a place of purification on the way to Heaven. A single unrepented mortal sin can send a soul to Hell forever. If a soul repents of his sins before death, the soul will probably go to Purgatory for some time for purification and then enter Heaven.
