In The Bible, Jesus criticized the Pharisees for being hypocrites, saying they focused on outward appearances of righteousness but neglected true justice, mercy, and faithfulness. He warned against following their example and emphasized the importance of genuine sincerity in one's beliefs and actions.
in Matthew
No verse like that in the Bible. But this saying is true of the Pharisees and Scribes in the Bible. Jesus describes their religion thus - Mark 12.38. And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and [love] salutations in the marketplaces, 39. And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: 40. Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. And Jesus warned the disciples of them again - Luke 12.1 Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
The bible does not say anything about dreaming for Jesus.
77 is it?
Different people raised the question in different forms at various times.... The one I belive you refer to was posed by the Pharisees.
the bible
The Bible doesn't say when. John quoted Isaiah who simply stated that they were blind.
The Bible doesn't say whether or not Jesus had a dog.
no
matthew
In the bible it says saul meets jesus on the road to Damascus, and is blinded.
The only evidence we have is the text of the Gospels. The teachings of Jesus recorded there are within the range of teachings you'd find within the Pharisees, so if the only text we had was the Gospels, without Acts, Paul's letters and so on, scholars would probably conclude that Jesus was a Pharisee. Leaders among the Pharisees had desciples, Jesus had desciples. Jesus hung out in synagogues and argued with Pharisees, and typical Pharisees out in synagogues and argue with each other. The arguments got quite heated, more heated even than some of the Gospel quotations about the Pharisees. So, I'd say that there's no evidence that Jesus "gave up his Jewish faith."
